Some of you may remember GEP 5, “Degraded Sesame”, in which I expressed my disappointment with the celebrated American children’s program in recent years. I recently saw a documentary that has me changing my mind about a few things that their production company, Sesame Workshop, is up to when it comes to recreating the Sesame Street concept in other countries. Site Updates Over The Next Few Days
Please accept my advancced apologies if your RSS feed readers seem overloaded with edited posts and the functionality of the site isn’t as consistent as usual for the next couple of days.
You’ll notice that I have already changed the way in which I’m posting audio files, and have added the ability for you to listen on a flash player.
I am now in the midst of dropping YouTube due to some problems I am having with how they do business and the fact that BlipTV far surpasses YouTube in quality, ease of use and the tools they provide for videobloggers.
I’m also looking at making some other changes, and am welcome to any suggestions you have about the site or the media (e.g. eardrum-splitting volume jumps on the podcasts between spoken word and music - I hear you, Arthur). If anybody knows how to do slight manipulations to CSS stylesheets, please e-mail me.
