Welcome back–it’s great to hear you again, and to get the update. Amazing how different from the US other countries are in labour laws. a topic in itself, I suppose.
Anyway, welcome back!

Welcome back! I’m glad things have worked out for the better through all that - very interesting too, that you have been able to compare firsthand approaches on both sides of the Atlantic.

It’s a treat to hear your theme song coming through my headphones in a new podcast! Now that you’re back it seems there might be a new France taking shape. I share your concerns for the survival of the fairness of French labor policies in Sarkoland.

Welcome Back Jeffrey. I have been missing your podcast.

It’s been entirely too long since I’ve been able to drown out the world with your voice or your vision, Jeffrey. You have been missed.
Thank you for sharing what’s been going on in your life with us. It sounds like you’ve made lemonade from your lemons, so congrats for making it through.
I am very much looking forward to seeing video from the holiday!

Glad to hear things have worked out for you and the BF and everybody’s jobs and legal statuses etc.

Glad to hear that all is well. I’ve missed listening to the podcasts. I too have my concerns about the US, I’m especially curious to see what happens as the real estate bubble pops and people can’t afford the lavish lifestyle they’ve been living.
I’m curious, given you’re pro union and labor stance, do you pay royalties to the artist that provide some of the great music you use on the site?
Take care!

@Arthur - Thanks muchly. You’re such a faithful web friend.
@Steve - I really hate talking about myself here, but I am glad you confirmed my suspicion that there was something interesting to be discussed in such a personal story.
@Richard - We shall see. I’m just glad I didn’t have any traffic tickets for Sarkozy to not forgive!
@Rebecca - Thanks.
@Justin - I like Lemonade a lot, as long as there’s no high fructose corn syrup involved! Video is imminent.
@Édouard - Glad to see you’re still visiting. Please let me know when you’re in Paris again.
@Jason - I think the US is in for a dose of reality, which I hope will bring forth a maturation. As for the royalty question, I am not a corporation. But rest assured, I do support musicians I love, and try to go to concerts so I can assure that more of my money goes to the artists instead of the record companies.
